Podere L’Aquila – translated “eagle’s nest” – is the heart of our holiday apartments in Tuscany. Everyone who stays here, feels the pulse of that unique region, smells the fragrance of innumerable flowers, herbs, the aromatic cypresses and pines and may wander its eye over the gentle hilly landscape up until Siena. Podere L’Aquila was an old estate to which also belongs the Casa Parigi.
Here in Chianti Classico, each season has its own charm. The light is changing continuously and with it, its silhouette of the beautiful forest landscape at the southern slope of Monte Calvo. In spring and autumn, warm days invite to relax on the numerous panorama-terraces
of the property. In summer, on 700m altitude a constant gentle wind provides a pleasant “il relax”-, a “doing nothing”-atmosphere. No matter whether singles, couples, groups or families with kids and dog – Everyone will be taken away by the idyll, from the first moment on.
The apartments of Podere L´Aquila reflect inimitably the charm of Tuscany. The villa has its own big swimming pool, which can be used by all holiday guests. Furthermore, WLAN connection can be found in each of the apartments. Later in the evening we serve tuscan cuisine in our restaurant. The food is not only remarquable regarding its freshness and quality, but also served on a large table, which is typic for the sociable tuscans. The sophistication of the simplicity, combined with a private atmosphere, is what makes Podere L´Aquila so special.
