Casa la Quercia
At the border of the historic hamlet Starda from the 12th century lies the holiday apartment with swimming pool Casa La Quercia, in a quiet location. From here, you get a wonderful panorama on the unique Landscape of Chianti Classico. A further villa is situated on the property and does also belong to the owner of Casa La Quercia. Unfortunately, she rarely is on site. However, the helpful, elderly lady, who lives in Florence, does normally not miss out on welcoming her guests personally.
The Hamlet Starda is located around 14 km of Gaiole in Chianti and roundabout 20 km of Montevarchi. Besides shopping facilities and banks, here you’ll also find some restaurants.
The restaurant from Podere L’Aquila and its Tuscan specialities, is also available. From Casa La Quercia it can easily be accessed by foot.
